October 22nd, 2014 - French banking innovation prize awarded to Zeutschel zeta

October 23, 2014

Successful combination of design and function

Celebrating ground-breaking innovations in the banking industry, the annual event is hosted by Publi-News. Not only does the publishing group organise conferences and exhibitions, it also circulates a variety of newsletters for the business environment and publishes France's most important banking magazine. The accolades were presented at an award ceremony held at the end of September during the 'Les Salon des Banques & Innovation' convention in Paris.

The judges, composed of consultants, branch managers and journalists, were completely taken by zeta's successful combination of design and functionality, demonstrated to a high degree in the digital processing of bound documents such as binders, spread sheets and annual reports.
"Following on from the successful library launch, where it is used for copying services, document deliveries and inter-library loans, zeta continues to gain ground in the office world. The Grand Prix Les Banques & Innovation is further recognition of this", says Patrice Letailleur, Regional Sales Manager, whose responsibilities also include distribution in France.

The Zeutschel scanning system has already won a number of accolades, including the prestigious international 'red dot' design award, the 'iF product design award' and received the 'Best of 2013' Innovation Award-IT presented by the 'Initiative Mittelstand', the SME Initiative.

Instead of copying and filing bound documents, they are digitised using Zeutschel's zeta scanning system. The files, books or magazines are simply opened and scanned from above. The integrated Perfect Book software removes undesirable elements such as the lever arch mechanism and automatically rotates crooked documents into portrait style. The scans can be electronically processed immediately – whether stored in a company's own network, sent as an e-mail attachment or transferred to the appropriate ECM solution. The device is operated intuitively using the attached touchscreen and the stylish design sets new standards for office equipment.
