Outstanding Design Achievement Awards

Tübingen, January 2014 - The "zeta" success story continues: The Zeutschel scanning system wins the prestigious iF product design award 2014 – out of a total of 3,249 entries. The iF International Forum Design GmbH is, therefore, honouring an outstanding design achievement in the "Computer" category. So, Zeutschel zeta will be granted the iF design award's seal of quality and presented to the design-conscious public on a variety of different platforms – exhibitions, yearbook and in the internet. http://www.ifdesign.de - http://www.zeutschel.de

Following the "Red Dot" design prize and "Focus Open" wins, the iF product design award is a further highlight in our product design work. Zeutschel's success is down to its extraordinary creativity, innovative strength and customer orientation", says Margot Rauscher, Marketing Manager at Zeutschel.

The international design prize is awarded by an independent jury composed of world-renowned designers, entrepreneurs and professors in 17 different categories. The evaluation criteria includes: design quality, workmanship, choice of materials, degree of innovation, environmental soundness, functionality, ergonomics, visualisation of use, safety, brand value and branding.

The iF product design award has been a globally recognised brand name for outstanding design for more than 60 years.

Instead of copying and filing bound documents, they are digitised using Zeutschel's zeta scanning system. The files, books or magazines are simply opened and scanned from above. The integrated Perfect Book software removes undesirable elements such as the lever arch mechanism and automatically rotates crooked documents into portrait style. The scans can be electronically processed immediately – whether stored on a USB stick, sent as an e-mail attachment or uploaded to the Cloud. The device is operated intuitively using the attached touchscreen and the stylish design sets new standards for office equipment.
