It consists of a camera system with a digital back of PhaseOne, interchangeable lenses, a special LED lighting as well as a variety of copyboard systems. It is designed for the digitization of various film formats, slides, glass negatives, stamps and coins, as well as books and large format documents. In addition, the cooperation agreement concludes that PhaseOne will take over the exclusive distribution of the new digitization system in North America.

"The Zeutschel ScanStudio shows, what happens, when two world market leaders - Zeutschel with book scanners and PhaseOne with medium format digital cameras – merge their skills and expertise," says Jörg Vogler, Managing Director of Zeutschel GmbH.

And Peter Nielsen, Market Manager, ‘Cultural Heritage Market' from PhaseOne explains: "We are pleased to have found a partner, which shares the same high demands on quality and flexibility in the' Cultural Heritage 'market. Together, we have achieved a milestone in repro solutions in the shortest possible development time. We are all proud of that ".

Zeutschel has been focusing on books and other valuable bound documents for solutions to preserve the cultural heritage. Through the cooperation with PhaseOne, the company is now able to expand its digitization solutions and open up new markets.

And the two companies are also working together for distribution. With its sales network, PhaseOne exclusively sells the system in the important North American market in which the company has been successfully active for a long time.

Zeutschel markets the system in its main region DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), in the strong growing market of Asia, as well as in its sales territories in Europe, the Middle East, South America and Africa. The company can rely on an experienced and successful network of international partners.
