March 2017 - From the scanner to your cell phone - zeta2mobile now available for iOS
Zeutschel at the CeBIT 2017 – Hall 3 / F17
The app is designed for use with the Zeutschel zeta or chrome scanning systems. The scanned images can be immediately stored and displayed on smartphones and tablets with the zeta2mobile app. Previously only available for Android devices, the Zeutschel app can now also be used with iPhones and iPads (from iOS 8.0 and higher).
The communication between the scanner and mobile devices takes place via the company’s wireless network or in the library.
The easiest way to connect the two devices is by using a QR code generated by the scanning system, which can be read by a reader built into the app.
While files can be stored in any target directory in Android, this is done in the app itself in iOS.
The synchronization of the scan settings is useful. Changes to the scanner’s parameters are automatically transferred to the app during the next connection process. The settings for recurring tasks are then sent back to the scanner from there.
The zeta2mobile app is available for free in the Google Play Store.
